Constellation Hercules Ring for Victory

An astrological talisman of the constellation Hercules, for Victory.

The talisman takes the form of a 6mm carnelian cabochon, engraved with the image of the arm of hercules grasping a club, bezel set in a solid .925 sterling silver ring (US Size 7 1/2) atop sacred frankincense (boswellia sacra).

The image was taken from 13th century German philosopher Albertus Magnus’ description in his work De Mineralibus:

“The constellation of Hercules is a man kneeling, holding a club in his hand and killing a lion; and he holds [a lion's] skin in his other hand. Hence if the image of Hercules is engraved upon a stone that pertains to victory, and the wearer has it with him on the battlefield, it is said that he will be victorious.” (De Mineralibus, Ch. 5)

The cabochon was engraved and suffumigated on the 19th of October 2023, at 8:49am AEDT in Melbourne, Australia. The unafflicted Moon rose in conjunction to the star Sarin, a core star within the constellation Hercules.

The talisman ships with a full colour information booklet with consecration instructions, and a complementary vial of the incense used to suffumigate the talisman at the time of creation.
