Mars in Capricorn: Amethyst Trilliant

An astrological talisman of the planet Mars in the sign of his exaltation, for strength, courage, and victory.

The talisman takes the form of an 8mm trilliant cut Amethyst cabochon, engraved with the glyph of Mars at the elected time, and suffumigated with nettle, powdered magnetite, aloeswood, pepper, and dragon’s blood.

This series was created at 4:58am, on Friday the 19th of January 2024 in Melbourne, Australia. Mars rises in his sect and hour, on the day of Jupiter, as the unafflicted exalted Moon perfects a conjunction with Jupiter and applies to conjoin Mars from the 5th house.

The talisman is bezel set in a triangular setting, atop a bespoke blend of the herbs used to suffumigate the talisman at the time of its creation. The reverse of the setting features the glyphs of Mars and Capricorn, respectively.

The setting was hand modelled in hard jeweller’s wax and cast in solid .925 sterling silver using the ancient sand casting technique.

The talisman measures approx. 20x25mm (0.78x1.0in) in diameter and weighs approx. 14g (0.5oz).

The talisman ships with a complementary 55cm/21in, 3mm round sterling silver belcher chain, a complementary leatherette display case, a full colour information booklet including consecration instructions, as well as a vial of ritual incense for consecration.
